Located in the delightful resort of Morzine, a genuine Alpine Market Town, Chalet Chanterelle is a superb new chalet of high specification situated in an elevated position on the sunny south facing slope of Morzine town.  It is only 150m from the “Place de l’Eglise”, the free shuttle bus services, the Carrefour supermarket, 200m from the nearest bars and restaurants, and around 400m from the ice skating rink and new indoor aquatic centre.

The East, South and West aspects of the chalet make it very light and airy with 180 degree views of the surrounding mountains and ski slopes; from the Cime de L’Aigle and Pointe de Nyon to the ski slopes of the Pleney and the peak of the Roc d’Enfers.

As you would expect from a luxury Savoyard chalet it is comfortably furnished throughout and is fully equipped to a high standard for group or family holidays.  This large 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom chalet, which comfortably accommodates 10 guests, is set on three floors and is located well above road level.

On the ground floor, which is elevated from road level, there is a large and airy entrance hall, one double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, a twin room, a large shower room with wash basin and WC, a laundry/drying room with washing machine, tumble dryer and overhead drying rail, and internal stairs leading to the first floor.

The open plan living area is located on the middle floor and comprises a modern fully-equipped kitchen, a large dining area with a table seating 10, a spacious but cosy living area with three comfortable leather settees, log burning fire-place, flat screen TV with UK Sky Freeview and French multi TV channels, Hifi radio/CD player and i-pod docking station, DVD player and Wifi.  This living area has a terrace and is surrounded by a balcony accessed through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors.  It provides an ideal place to unwind and relax after a day on the slopes.

Open tread wood stairs from the living area lead to the spacious second floor landing giving access to  one double bedroom with a king size bed, a balcony and en-suite bathroom, one twin bedroom with balcony, a further twin bedroom, a shower room with washbasin and WC and a separate toilet room.

The whole chalet is extremely well insulated and is electrically heated with thermostatically controlled zoned under-floor heating on the ground and first floors and with electric radiators on the second floor.  The hot water is provided by two large immersion heaters.

At road level, there is a spacious 2 car lockable garage, with further off road parking space for 2 cars and a large lockable ski/boot room fitted with ski racks and a boot dryer for 10 pairs of ski boots.

The chalet has a strict “No Smoking”, “No Pets” and "NO Shoes/Boots" policy. 

Please ensure that you bring with you "Slippers" to wear whilst in the chalet.

Deposit Details

A 25% deposit will secure the booking. The 75% balance must be paid one month before the start of the rental period. Taxe du Sejour must be paid on arrival at a rate of 0.65 Euros per adult per day or the government published rate if different.

Cleaning Details

Cleaning is charged at around Euro 140 and will be taken at the time that the balance of the holiday rental is paid. In the unlikely event that the chalet is left in a soiled state an additional charge will be made and taken from the Security Deposit.

Linen Details

Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are provided.
