Property Description

Chalet Vanakam is a really lovely chalet that has been finished to a very high standard. It has 4 ensuite bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen / dining room / living room, with the most amazing view up and down the valley. The chalet is a lovely mix of old reclaimed wood and then very modern touches such as high spec bathrooms and Kitchen. underfloor heating though out and a wood burning fire as well. The living space is generous and a great place for a group of friends or two families to truly enjoy a ski holiday.

Access to the slopes is very easy as the chalet is about 30 metres away from the free ski bus stop that takes you to nearest slopes in no time at all. The chalet also has parking for 2 cars.

Our ‘Top Tip’ is to hire ski lockers in Meribel, the lockers are right underneath one of the main gondolas in Meribel Chaudanne. This means in the morning you can go up to Meribel in your normal shoes, change into you ski equipment and off you go, all very easy. After skiing, change back into your shoes and either go home or go for a wander around Meribel, have an apres drink, maybe go swimming or ice skating. We think this is a great option if you have children. The lockers cost 50 euros for the week  and can take 3 skis and boots per locker and 70 euros for a x4 locker The room is very well heated and there are heated boot warmers for all the boots in the lockers.

Its possible to book the chalet catered or self catered, choice is yours.

We operate a no smoking policy within the chalet.

The listed prices are for one week's self catered accommodation.  Any of the weeks can be converted into a catered week, for a price please contact us (as we use independent caterers, adding catering to your week is dependend on their availability).  An additional £1000 refundable security deposit will be added to the above prices.  The end of stay clean is included in the rental price but please note that this is on the basis that the chalet will be left tidy with all washng up done and bins and recycling taken away.  Failure to do so will result in a decution from the secuirty deposit.  Check in is from 4pm and check out is by 10am.

What's included in the price of your holiday

As standard, the price for this chalet includes:

Catered

• Seven nights' accommodation
• Help with booking your ski lessons, ski passes and ski hire, transfers and anything else that will make your holiday run smoothly. Please note a £750 refundable security deposit will be added to the listed price
• Catering includes 6 days of: Cooked and Continental breakfast. Homemade afternoon tea with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Three course evening meal and children's dinner at 6pm (if required)
• Wednesday is chef's day off on which day no catering is provided but breakfast items will be left in the chalet for guests to serve themselves.
• Bed linen and bath towels provided
• 2 mid week cleans

Self-Catered

• Seven nights' accommodation
• Bed linen and bath towels provided
• Help with booking your ski lessons, ski passes and ski hire, transfers and anything else that will make your holiday run smoothly.
• £750 refundable security deposit will be added to the listed price
• The end of stay clean is INCLUDED in the rental price but please not that this is on the basis that the chalet will be left tidy with all washng up done and bins and recycling taken away
