Property Description

Within easy walking distance of the chamski bus stop and the town centre. It is a 10 minute flat walk along the river into Chamonix town centre.

The chalet has a large, cosy, open plan living, dining and kitchen area with log fire. Patio doors and big windows give spectacular views of Mont Blanc.

One thing that makes Chalet D'Ile special are the hosts who have been running the chalet for over 15 years and get to ski 5 days a week. Their local knowledge will help you make the most of your precious winter holiday on the slopes.

The accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor

• A spacious double room with en suite bathroom which is big enough to accommodate an additional single beds to make a family room if required. The en suite has a walk in shower, toilet and twin basins.
• A separate toilet.

First Floor Lower

• A cosy twin room with sloping roof.
• A double room with sloping roof.
• A shower room with cubicle shower, basin and toilet.

First Floor Upper

• A large quad room with 4 single beds and balcony with great views of Mont Blanc.
• A bathroom with bath, overhead shower and twin basins.
• A separate toilet.

Other Facilities

• Ski storage area with heated boot warmers.
• Storage area for outdoor equipment.
• Large private garden with superb views.
• Outdoor garden furniture for spring time.
• Private car parking outside the chalet for 4 vehicles.
• Free WiFi

Chalet D'Ile is a catered chalet during the winter and the following meals will be provided -

Breakfast consisting of cereals, porridge, French baguette, butter, spreads, boiled eggs, orange juice, tea and coffee.

Afternoon tea will be laid out for you, on your return from your day on the hill, put the kettle on and help yourself to freshly Breezy's infamous cakes, French baguette, butter and jam.

Evening meal consists of 3 courses of excellent home cooking with flowing wine.
Please note that Al and I  will have one well earned day off a week. On this day breakfast will be self service and in the evening you will be able to sample one of the many restaurants in town.

Deposit Details

Winter Deposit-150 per person.

Payment Details

Cheque or Bank transfer. Sorry no credit card facilities.

Cleaning Details

Cleaning 6 days a week is included.

Linen Details

Linen & Bath towels are included.
